REBECCA IRONSIDE - DIRECTOR
Rebecca began her market research career in South Africa, where she worked
for one of the country's top agencies, Markinor - starting as a
quantitative interviewer and moving into full time research after
completing her Marketing and Management studies. She returned to
the UK in 1995 where she worked client side for Nethold (now CanalSatellite)
on the launch of digital satellite TV into Europe. After a year
of freelance work, including writing a monthly column for a digital
TV trade newsletter, Rebecca
returned to agency side.
Rebecca was promoted to a Director in January 2004, but before joining
SPA in 2001, Rebecca was an Associate Director at The Qualitative Consultancy,
and before that worked for Counterpoint Research. Apart from a brief foray
into quantitative research, Rebecca has remained firmly focused on qualitative
research and has considerable experience in managing qualitative research projects
across a variety of sectors, with a particular interest in media (TV and publishing)
and youth. She also has much experience in lifestyle research areas, especially
issues affecting women, ranging from their socialising and media habits to family
commitments and larger size fashions
